You now have a safe, effective spot-on product that does NOT contain harmful chemicals!

Dealing with annoying fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes on our pets is not fun, but harsh repellents in my opinion, are not the answer. There have been many cases of serious adverse side effects in pets that may have been caused by chemical spot on products.

But my Spot On Topical Herbal Repellent for dogs and puppies has NO harsh ingredients, and offers convenient longer term protection.

The many benefits of Spot On Topical Herbal Repellent include:

  • Each dose lasts roughly one month, so you don’t have to keep reapplying
  • It’s easy to apply and has a fresh, minty smell
  • You don’t have to reapply after your pet swims or goes out in the rain
  • The formula contains ONLY safe ingredients that work effectively to repel insects

Give your dog the ultimate protection during insect season! My Spot On Topical Herbal Repellent can be used by itself, or with other Mercola Healthy Pets pest repellent products for maximum protection. Try this essential repellent for your best friend today!

    • Works for Us

Our little guy tends to attract one or two fleas every summer. We used this product last year and it kept the fleas away. I do not mind the oiliness because it does not burn my dogs skin like many other flea/tic products.

    • Ok product

I’ve been using this in conjunction with the flea collar for my small dog for a few years now. I agree with other comments about needing a clear tube and it being oily. However, most topical flea repellents are oily. The smell doesn’t really seem to bother my dog and I personally like the essential oil smell.

    • Disappointed in flea control

Disappointed in this product. It is very oily, ended up on my dog’s coat even tho’ I was careful when putting it on, and has a strong smell. I haven’t had time to see if it repels fleas.

    • how many drops?

The description needs to state how many drops for a small dog. How can you tell when you can't see through the tube? The smell can be annoying after a while also, and the oily residue stays on the collar, so that also needs to be washed. Hopefully this will be safer than the chewable flea control pills.

    • Very Oily

Both my dogs are 20 lbs which would require a tube a pice. This product is extremely oily and therefore does not absorb in the skin quickly or at all. It creates quite the mess. So disappointing.

    • Good non-toxic option, but needs some improvement

We have been using this spot on treatment for about a year for our 2 year old pup. We live in southern California, so a truly non-toxic flea regimen is necessary because protection is needed year round. We've tested tons of products and found this to work well with the other aspects of our regimen. As many pup parents know, in addition to weekly baths and frequent vacuuming, a variety of natural products are also needed to keep those buggers away. The only downside of this spot on treatment is the tube - for small dogs it is recommended to use only half a tube each month. It is totally impossible to see through the tube, so you have to guess how much you are putting on. I really hope they change to a clear tube soon. (fyi we use: this spot on, the herbal collar, the flea and tick spray when we go for walks, and a frequency-repellant tag from All Natural Pet.)

    • Spot on Tick and Flea

I have Found 2 ticks in the house in the last several months, one in the bed and one on the floor (last being today with 4 inches of snow outside) , NOT on any of my 3 dogs. I was not going to treat over the winter but I have quickly changed my mind and reorderd today.
