What does ‘Biodynamic®’ mean?
Think organic but better. Farms that earn Demeter Certified Biodynamic®, the world’s oldest ecological certification, use regenerative, soil-first practices to meet the highest standards in agriculture. Every certified farm is a self-contained, self-sustaining ecosystem that follows the cycles of nature through century-old methods – like plant diversity, cover crops, livestock integration, low-till practices as well as complete removal of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides. As a result, farmers improve the health of their land and quality of their ingredients while cultivating a stronger planet.

Which is better – Liposomal Vitamin C or Vitamin C Amla Extract?
Both forms of vitamin C play important roles in your health. For daily use, we recommend Vitamin C Amla Extract or Liposomal Vitamin C as both are whole-food forms of vitamin C, containing valuable, synergistic micronutrients found in the whole food.
For those occasions when you want to take larger doses of vitamin C, you may want to select Liposomal Vitamin C. The liposomal form more easily penetrates your cell membranes, and helps your body absorb more vitamin C, without causing digestive upset or loose stools.

Can I take more than 500 mg of Vitamin C Amla Extract each day?
We suggest taking two tablets, or 500 mg, each day as that is the level used in the research articles mentioned. Your body absorbs vitamin C better when you take it in divided doses, which is why we recommend taking one tablet in the morning and one later in the day.
Because vitamin C is water-soluble, you don’t need to take Vitamin C Amla Extract with a meal. However, if you do take larger doses, it may be preferable to take it with meals to avoid any potential stomach upset.

Is it safe to consume this product while pregnant or nursing?
