    1. What is the suggested use of the product?

      Adults, as a dietary supplement, take three (3) capsules daily with a meal.

    2. Is it possible for air to get into the hard-shell liquid capsules?

      We use several different technologies to help prevent air from getting into the capsules. First, our hard shell liquid capsules are banded and they contain a nitrogen bubble for freshness. Unlike softgels, which contain plasticizers that create channels for moisture and oxygen to penetrate the capsules, hard shells do not.

    3. I see that you also offer Herring Caviar Oil and Wild Caught Alaskan Cod Liver Oil. How do I decide which one to take?

      Krill Oil has been our top seller for years, however, those with shellfish allergies should substitute Herring Caviar or Cod Liver Oil. All three are outstanding marine sources of omega-3 fatty acids with their own unique qualities. Krill Oil and Herring Caviar Oil contain phospholipids for enhanced absorption and Cod Liver Oil contains special pro-resolving mediators (PRMs) for cellular health, comfortable movement and a balanced immune response. We suggest alternating between them and finding the one that works best for you.*

    4. What strength should I take – regular Antarctic Krill Oil or Krill Oil Double Strength?

      If after testing you determine your omega-3 levels are low (below 8%), using Krill Oil Double Strength can help you quickly raise your levels. If your levels aren’t at least 6% or preferably 8%, your body and brain are likely suffering from a deficiency in the essential fats DHA and EPA. We recommend testing your levels annually.

    5. Can I give my child Antarctic Krill Oil?

      Antarctic Krill Oil was formulated for adults. However, kids need Krill Oil too, especially for their developing brains, so we have a formulation just for them – Krill Oil for Kids. We’ve also created a special formula for women – Antarctic Krill Oil for Women – with Evening Primrose Oil to support female health and vitality.*

    6. Is it safe to consume this product while pregnant or nursing?

      This product was not formulated specifically for pregnant or nursing women. We always recommend consulting with your health care provider before taking a new dietary supplement.
