I don't understand any of the negative reviews. I got one for my dog when he was a puppy, and also the extra large one for him (he's 80 lbs.). He can chew through anything but the cover is really tough. He pulls at it to try and fluff it and there is no damage to the cover. I wash the covers every week and they come out perfect. I'm not sure how customers say the material shreds, I am thankful for the strength of this material. I can't say enough about this cover. I even use the beater bar of my vacuum on the beds. The color fades a tiny bit but that doesn't affect my opinion about them. My dog loves his beds. (Also, I haven't any issues with the zipper.)

Simple. Zipper is crap and will break easily and quickly.

I bought one for my senior shepherd mix dog, but the cat kind of took over, so i bought her one of her own. They both love their new beds! My only complaint is that they are huge. 2 80# dogs could sleep in the extra large. Otherwise, we are all very happy with the new beds so far.

I don't wash the inner padding material of course, but even with normal use the paper-thin padding cover will shred after a few months. And the newer ones, the lining of the washable cover will deteriorate in time. Not buying anymore; I've had at least 4 of them.

Glad to have an organic comfortable bed for my old dog. But would love to buy an extra cover to use while washing and drying cover. My long haired dog sheds a lot so don't want me to lie on bed without cover....five star otherwise.

This cover is very heavy duty and I was surprised to learn how waterproof it is. I had a bad kitty urinate on it and not a drop went through to the stuffing. It is comfy, light enough to easily carry around yet offer good support for my 87-lb. doggie who loves it. Well worth the price compared to any other I've ever bought over the many years of buying beds for dogs. The zipper is heavy duty and the liner comes out/goes back in without a battle after washing. I'd give it more stars if I could. Thank you!
